Milwaukee doesn’t get enough credit. Neither does this jersey.
The Brewers’ 2026 City Connect is the least talked about drop in the eight-team wave and that’s genuinely unfair because it’s doing something more considered than most of the others. Milwaukee is a city built on industry, on brewing, on a working-class identity that’s as proud as any in the Midwest. The design reflects that — grounded, purposeful, not trying to be something it isn’t. The coral colourway is unexpected and brave for a franchise that has historically played it safe, and it pays off completely.
In a drop class full of big gestures — gradients, Jolly Rogers, Día de los Muertos iconography — the Brewers made something quieter and more durable. The typography feels like it was drawn by someone who actually walked the streets of Milwaukee rather than someone who Googled it from a design studio. There’s a specificity to the details that rewards attention — the kind of jersey where you keep noticing things the longer you wear it.
This is the one that ages well. The one people will be wearing in ten years and getting compliments on because it doesn’t scream its references. The one that will be genuinely hard to find once it sells out.
Underrated drop. Get on it before everyone else figures that out.
